As we get busier — and we all do — it helps to make the most of the available minutes. Until we can find a way to add more hours into a day, check out these productivity tips from the folks at Forbes
Plan your day in advance.
A little forethought will give you the best bang for your buck, or in this case, the most minutes for your hour. Knowing what you want to accomplish before you start means saving time when you’re ready to get down to business.
Plan your tasks from most to least important.
Not only are you more likely to be motivated for big, daunting tasks at the start of your day, but once they’re finished you’ll be able to approach smaller tasks with much less stress.
Organization is great but if you let yourself get overloaded, it will all be for naught. Step away from the work occasionally and treat yourself to a fresh air break, a stroll around the office, or even some stretching to get your blood flowing again.
Keep notes on achievements.
Over time, the grind of a fast-paced environment can feel like a race that never stops. If the list of what’s still to do starts to wear you down, give yourself a pep talk with reminders of what you’ve already done!
